By simple search, you search for a document not with the help of a single but more selected characteristics.
Eg. The whole of the title, words from the title, the name of the author, the name of the creator (author+contributor), topic, the name of the publisher etc.

You will see how many hits the search produced per characteristic, you will be able to see the detailed hit list by clicking on the number of hits.

We recommend using the [Advanced search] tab for more accurate results.

With the novelties buttons, you can quickly search for recently or newly acquired documents. In order to search for novelties in more detail, please go to the [Novelties] tab.

You can set a number of criteria for one search and you can exactly find what you want.
In turn you need some background knowledge. You should know for example that Coelho is the writer or the title of the book :-)

You can search among the documents acquired within a given period of time.

If you only specify time, you will get all the documents acquired since then.
If you give any other criterion, from the new documents you will only see the ones that meet the criterion.

By browsing, you can receive an ordered list of a selected piece of bibliographic data that starts with what is written in the search box (author, title, topical term etc). From any line of the list you can immediately reach the document that appears in the line as data.

The TextLib Integrated Library System enables you as a reader to view any data generated in relation to you (including loans, reservations, amounts to be paid, etc.) during your visits to the library online.

When logging in, please give your identifier and password. The number of your patron card (which you can normally find below the bar code) can always be used as your identifier. It is also possible to set another identifier for yourself in addition to the number of your patron card with the help of the librarian in the library or on the website on the page that you can reach by clicking on 'Data modification' on the reader status page. In this way you can get an identifier that is easier to remember than the number of the patron card.

For security reasons, no reader may use this function without a password. You can get a password from the librarian in the library, or even better if in the library you set a password on a TextLib workstation, but the most simple method is to give a password on the 'Data modification' page. Until you set our own password, the default password is valid. This is 8 digits composed of the year, month and date of your birth without any space, e.g. for a reader born on 25 March 1970, it is "19700325".
